January 2026 Update – I’m Not Dead!

Spankers, Spankees and Switches,

I’m not dead, I promise! Just busy holiday stuff, and then getting back from holiday stuff means I never actually posted a “I’m totes not dead” post. As far as updates, I’ve started work on the second part of Episode 2 in Scarlet Moon 2. It’s been slow going, mostly because of other things keeping me busy.

But I am chipping away at it, I promise. Slow progress is being made. The team is chasing Succubus except… oh noes! She’s gone and Succubused Bright! :horror:

December 2025 Update

Spankers, Spankees, Switches,

Now that the remaster of Episode 3 of the first Scarlet Moon game is released on itch.io, I’ve turned my attention back to the second half of Episode 2 of Scarlet Moon 2. It’s been a bit slow going. Mostly because I had an idea (infiltrating the GNN news network building) but have been really struggling with it. Every word has been like pulling teeth. Generally, this is a sign that what I’m doing just doesn’t work for one reason or another. So, we’ll have to back up and try a different approach! But this means that while I’ve been working on it here or there, I don’t really have much tangible progress.

Scarlet Moon Remaster Episode 3 released on itch.io

Spankers, Spankees, and Switches,

Just a quick heads up that I’ve uploaded the latest version of the Scandalous Scarlet Moon remaster to itch.io, containing content up through Episode 3.

Scandalous Scarlet Moon Chapter 3 Remake Bug Fixes

Fixed what bugs I could find that LastStraw very kindly pointed out.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find the child <> tag issue at the end of the study scene. If anyone runs into that, please let me know, and include some text from just before or just after it, so that I can better find it!

The Scandalous Scarlet Moon Remake Episode 3 Translated

Spankers, Spankees, and Switches,

I’ve finally finished converting Episode 3 of the first Scarlet Moon game to the Twine engine. You can play it over in the Downloads section or at the link below. I’ve played through it, but I’m sure there were paths I missed. So let me know if you encounter any bugs! After a few weeks of nobody reporting bugs, I’ll also upload it to the itch.io page.

November 2025 Update

Spankers, Spankees, and Switches,

I’ve had a burst of productivity the past week or so on the remake of Scarlet Moon 1. I’ve gotten the first fight with Tempestas and Poseidon done, and am knee-deep in the fight with Buzzsaw. After that, I really only have one more fight to write, the one on campus (the final fight the player has to win, so I’ll probably just cutscene that one) and then we’ll be able to release the remake of episode 3 of The Scandalous Scarlet Moon.

No timeline on when that will be available though. Hopefully by the end of the year.

October 2025 Update

Spankers, Spankees, and Switches,

Currently working on remaking Episode 3 of the Scandalous Scarlet Moon. I’ve done all the easy stuff (i.e. converting the dynamic text), now I’ve got to work on the hard stuff (replacing the fights with actual action scenes ala Scarlet Moon 2). I’m working on that, but it’s been slow. Real life is keeping me busy, and my Scarlet Moon creative energy is always a bit low right after a release. But I’m working on it! I’m hoping to have Episode 3 of the first game remade by the end of the year at the latest.

Scarlet Moon 2 Bugfixes

Spankers, Spankees and Switches,

A new version is up with fixes for the bugs reported to me so far. Thank you so much to Wildfire, Uninventive and spyro40 for pointing out the bugs.

However, one of them was nasty. See, Twine’s debugging tools are absolute horseshit. In particular, there’s no way in debug mode to set a variable. Furthermore, I can’t just easily go in and edit a save file like I could with the Lua versions of Scarlet Moon. So if I want to test a particular path, and I don’t happen to have a save file with the right flags set, I need to add some commands in the code itself to set it. Me being lazy, I tossed in a set command at the very beginning of Episode 2 (i.e. the first page of new content) that set the waitress flag to false, so I could test the Natalie girlfriend but no waitress path. I stupidly left that in.

So, if you are wanting to play the waitress path, you’re going to need to load a save from *before* Episode 2. Any of your current Episode 2 saves aren’t going to work, because those have set the waitress flag to false.

In the future, I’ll look to add a “Debug” section where I can set whatever arbitrary flags I need to set, and toss a Debut link into Other Customizations or something so that I don’t bork people’s save files.

Sorry about that everyone.

Anyway, play the most recent version Here
