Alright, so the first half of Scarlet Moon 2: Episode 2 is out! You can play it Right Here!
In this first half we get:
1. Our first introduction in this game to Midnight, complete with the ability to continue your romance if you romanced her in the first game.
2. A beach episode, because it is (apparently) a time honored tradition in the Scarlet Moon universe to put Juliana in a teeny tiny itsy bitsy teeny weenie bikini at the start of the game.
3. Plenty of disciplinary spankings, and even a few fun spankings (especially if you’re dating Midnight or Natalie).
4. The first hint of Succubus’ nefarious plan. Wooo! What is she up to? Play and…well, you won’t find out here probably. But in the next update!
I’ve also removed the AI generated pinups. While I appreciate that actually seeing my cute little heroines gave me the kick in the pants to get me working on this, I’ve soured pretty hard on generative AI since it’s been introduced. Got nothing against people who indulge in it, but I didn’t real feel like I needed it in my game. Plus, it’s kind of limiting. It’s very difficult to have any sort of elaborate or detailed costume when you need to keep it to something that these AI image generators can actually create.
And they just Could. Not. Capture Midnight. So, yeah. No AI slop here!
Top priority will be bug fixes of course. But in the meantime, I’ll also work on converting Episode 3 of the Scandalous Scarlet Moon to the Twine format. Once the bug reports settle down, I’ll make the game available on itch.io as well.
Also! Exciting month for people. I have finally decided to go ahead and make Dianne’s Promotion available as well. Robin Pearce has alas vanished off the internet, and I don’t want their *incredible* spanking gamebook Dianne’s Promotion to go with it. You can download Here!
You can also find it in the Other Spanking Games tab. The zip file includes the gamebook in a couple of E-Book formats, a text version that is identical to the Ebook versions (just something you could open in Notepad or whatever if you wanted), and a text version that has been tweaked by yours truly. The version I tweaked has all the same content, except I replaced the canes (meh) with paddles (yum!), gave Dianne a big rump (duh!) and put her in a thong (naughty, naughty girl!). Because I have Needs.

My personal opinion over the AI generated images in the game, I’m glad you removed them. While i do mess around with some AI, I really dislike AI art specifically. Most of the time it looks awful. Also, I wasnt the fan of the art that was used for the characters.
I dont think i came across any bugs, but some minor grammar mistakes. But for the life of me i cant remember where it was lmao.
Somebody was *clearly* too busy enjoying themselves to take proper notes! *stern face*
I admit that I liked the AI stuff at first, but there’s something empty and soulless about it, artwork and text both. And that’s only become more obvious to me as more if it floods the internet.
Slop is very much the right word for it, and while the US economy at least is going to shatter into a million pieces soon as this AI bobble pops, I really want it to just pop already, so that most of this slop can just die.
For the life of me, i cant find the first ScarletMoon game that was built and finished in the OLD engine. The one with combat and such. Is that one buried here somewhere?
I went to the downloads section and got the Love version, but under changes that document hasnt been updated since 2018.
I did download the Scarlet_moon_source-2 file and played SM1 from there but i think thats the new version as it just stops.
You downloaded the correct version of Scarlet Moon 1 the first time. That “changes” file isn’t for Scarlet Moon, it’s for the LOVE game engine that I use.
If you try to play that version, you should get the full and complete game. Let me know if that isn’t the case.

I'll ditto nixing the ai images. 99% of the time, there's something off-putting about it.
I'm a little confused about announcing Diane's Promotion. Hasn't it been available on your site in the gamebooks tab for years at this point? It *is* really really good, I spent a lot of quality time with it. I even tried to come up with "houserules" to try different, mostly less spanking avoidant, playthroughs. Didn't really balance, though.
You should include the webpage version in the zip, it's really convenient for keeping track of points and the links to pages. The webpage version of Master of the Manor doesn't work properly, though, I don't know if that's something you can fix?
I’m glad you liked it! I love writing Midnight. She and Juliana are my favorites to write. Someday, I need to put them in a scene together…
It’s actually kind of funny because Midnight was something of a “hold my beer” moment. Someone made an offhand comment in the animeotk Scarlet Moon thread about how they loved Succubus because she was such a great Domme, and I was thinking “Succubus? You want a Domme? I’ll *show* you a Domme!”
I actually haven’t had Dianne’s Promotion available. Master of the Manor has been available, but not Dianne’s Promotion. I’ve been resisting releasing Dianne’s Promotion because the author never released it publicly for free like they did Master of the Manor. And then all their stuff vanished off the internet. At that point, I said I’d think about it, but I never actually did. But now I decided to do so, for fear of it getting lost.
I actually didn’t create the webpage version of Master of the Manor, a different fan did and I’m hosting. While I probably *could* try to figure out what isn’t working about Master of the Manor’s webpage, I really don’t have time to do so.
So there is no webpage version of Dianne’s Promotion, and I don’t really have time to try to make and debug one.
Not when I have so much more Midnight and Succubus to write!

Ah ha, you’re right! Oops. I’d forgotten that I created a separate tab for them, so I was looking at the “Other Spanking Games” page, and that still had “No I’m not releasing Dianne’s Promotion, so don’t ask.” So that page was out of date.

I think I ran into a bug at the start of the game, I think it the 3th skill check, when I chose
‘Charm: Look over Poseidon’s shoulder, eyes wide, and duck.’
And then try to increase my power, it goes down
I also can’t wear the modest onepiece for the beach episode, there is no continuation.

Good ep, ran into a few bugs, most notably, waitressing doesn’t seem to be triggering, I’m getting the beach episode every time. This is while romancing Natalie mind.

[Eclipse Rising]Scarlet Moon and Poseidon twisted and turned, fists and knees flying, scarlet beams blazing, ice rams hammering. Scarlet cords lashed, while icy tentacles bound.
“We have Chastain.” Bright’s voice buzzed in Scarlet Moon’s ear, though it sounded strangely heavy. “Left to stand ankle deep in a puddle.”
“Hope it’s not like a spider’s web—” began Anklyana.
Poseidon suddenly rocketed up towards the surface. Scarlet Moon lashed a cord to Poseidon’s back and got dragged up with her.
“You!” she snarled as she erupted back into the air. She glared at Eclipse, who hovered near the ceiling. “You tricked me!”
“Yup.” Eclipse flung several small pebbles at Poseidon. The pebbles exploded in a sparkling, dazzling display. “Really Poseidon, your hiding place couldn’t have been more obvious if you put up a neon sign.”
Poseidon swished backwards, shutting her eyes with a cry. She snarled and flung a block of ice at Eclipse, who easily dodged it. She raced off deeper into the dam, dragging Scarlet Moon along with her.
“She’s coming. Bright, get out of there,” said Eclipse as she flew after the supervillain.
Scarlet Moon wove her glow into a pair of water skis, skidding along the surface of the water as Poseidon raced down the narrow corridors on the crest of a tidal wave. She swerved and bobbed as Poseidon turned down tight turns, skipping and bouncing off the walls. Her scarlet cord flexed and twisted, but held steady.
“I’m trying,” panted Bright. “But I’m moving slow. Every since we went into the room with the Crystal. Feel like I fought Buzzsaw all by myself.”
“Bernice hasn’t regained any of her Glow either,” said Anklyana. “She’s still weak and woozy.”
“She\’s not wearing a collar?” asked Scarlet Moon through gritted teeth. Poseidon suddenly turned, and Scarlet Moon flew into a wall, and nearly lost her scarlet cord. “Ahh!”
“No, no collar,” said Anklyana. “I don’t get it.”
“What if the giant crystal isn’t a catalyst?” asked Eclipse. “What if it’s a battery? Prometheus drained it when she supercharged herself with it, and now it’s trying to recharge, just like we do.”
“And it takes a while for more ambient Glow to go in there,” said Anklyana. “Thanks to the dam and dirt. So when we came in—”
“The crystal drained you two,” said Eclipse. “And kept Bernice from recovering.”
“Well, I can hear you all coming,” panted Bright. “You two gotta do something. Quick!”
Charm: “Oye, Poseidon, don’t you think you’re going after the wrong person?”
Craftiness: Lash a cord to the wall and pull right as Poseidon rounds a turn, slamming her into the wall.[/Eclipse Rising]
